Insight San Diego Welcomes

Matthew Brensilver

Practice MeEtings

Summary: During his residency in San Diego, Matthew will meet in-person with individuals in private, 20-minute sessions and also hold in-person, small group sessions of 45 minutes with up to 6 participants.

The purpose is for you to discuss your practice with Matthew and receive personal guidance. Many yogis use this opportunity to ask a question that might be uncomfortable to ask in a large group session or to have a more in-depth conversion with a teacher. The small group practice meetings allow each person in turn to have a conversation with Matthew and also to hear Matthew’s responses to other people’s practice questions, which can be equally valuable.

Space is limited, so please don’t sign up for more than one session. In case all the one-on-one sessions are fully booked on a particular day, please consider signing up for a small group as a substitute.

The practice meetings will be held in two locations as follows:

Backyard patio of a private home in University Heights, San Diego:

  • Friday, July 19, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

  • Monday July 22, 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

  • Tuesday, July 23, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

The exact location will be provided in the confirmation email.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Dieguito campus in Solana Beach:

  • Sunday, July 21, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

1036 Solana Drive, Solana Beach, CA (free parking)

Practice meetings will be held outdoors, close to the Founder’s Hall, two-story building visible from the parking lot.

You will receive a confirmation email which will include the location of your Practice Meeting.

In case you cannot attend a session for which you’ve signed up, please be sure to cancel via a button in the confirmation email you’ll receive after a sign-up.

This offering is part of Insight San Diego’s week-long teacher in residence program with Matthew Brensilver.
