The Once-a-Month Sunday Insight San Diego Sitting Group is a great way for beginners as well as more advanced practitioners to come together for an afternoon. We’ll sit in meditation for 30 minutes, listen to a dharma talk focused on a particular theme, and find inspiration, guidance, and support from like-minded people for our ongoing Vipassana Mindful Meditation practice.

This group offers a place for all to come together to share in community for a few hours one Sunday a month. Each month the group will explore a theme such as, Gratitude & Generosity, Celebrating the Winter Solstice or Patience, as a way of acknowledging our common humanity, enhancing our daily practice and creating a sangha.

Ideas for future themes are welcome from participants.

Please RSVP below to help us plan. We'll also send you email notices about this group and other information about Insight San Diego.

Anna Douglas uses the seasons to illustrate the many different phases we go through on our spiritual journey. Come join us for an afternoon where we will meditate together, listen together, and have an open space for mindful discussion.
