2-Day Intensive Course
This two-day intensive course is an introduction to the Mindful Self-Compassion training developed by Christopher Germer and Kristin Neff. This course will focus on mindfulness practices, developing a sense of self-compassion, responding to difficult emotions with greater ease, managing compassion fatigue, and reducing self-criticism.
Attendees should commit to both days (Friday and Saturday) as the skills will build on each other.
Friday August 23, 2019 and Saturday August 24, 2019. The class meets from 9 am - 4 pm both days
The cost to attend is $125. The registration fee covers materials and other expenses. Parking will be validated in the parking lot adjacent to the church.
Should finances be an obstacle, please visit our scholarships page for information about financial assistance. To be considered for a scholarship, applications need to be submitted no later than August 2.
This is a Friday and Saturday course, and attendance is requested for both days.
Bring lunch, your own utensils, and cup/mug. There is a refrigerator and microwave for your lunch.
Hot water and teas will be provided.
Bring a yoga mat if you think you might prefer to lie down during relaxation practices.
Bring a cushion for your chair if you think that will help you to be more comfortable.
