In this week, we direct the Metta phrases to a neutral person. A neutral person is someone we don’t feel strong liking or disliking for.
During week 3 we practiced directing the Metta phrases to a benefactor or friend. A benefactor is a benevolent person who has given you something for which you are grateful.
Last week we learned the traditional Metta phrases, and directed them to ourselves in a gathered and focused way.
